Our history

FABERtechnica was born in 2001, when Marco Frascarolo was contacted by a well-known and inspired photographer/entrepreneur intending to purchase the General Electric complex in Milan to transform it into flexible spaces dedicated to recording and listening to music. The feasibility study requires the synthesis of various skills, among which the key elements are architectural acoustics and communication based on light and multimedia.

The collaboration brings Marco Frascarolo, engineer, lover of light and sound, to join the group of teachers of an avant-garde school, whose focus is synesthesia as the basis of any creative process, the University of the Image of Milan, founded by Fabrizio Ferri himself. That distant 2001 lays the foundations for today’s FABERtechnica, through a constant renewal of resources and working methodologies – thanks to the permeability with the RomaTre school of Architecture and the Master in Lighting Design of Sapienza – always faithful to the initial spirit, a a hotbed of knowledge and skills, which digital convergence, which has marked these 20 years, has made become a reality.

Light, with its functional, environmental, social and communication values, has always been the fil rouge of our activities.
