“Piano LED” – Roma Capitale

On the occasion of the replacement underway in the territory of Rome Capital of the lighting bodies with new ones equipped with LED technology, with particular attention to the historic center, it was decided to create an agreement between the Lighting and Acoustics Laboratory of the Roma Tre University in synergy with the Master in Lighting Design of La Sapienza University and the SIMU Department of the Capitoline Administration. The agreement has the purpose of continuing the path already started through the technical table which, in addition to the Department of Public Works and its Department (Simu), Acea, the Capitoline Superintendence for Cultural Heritage, the Special Superintendence of archeology, fine arts and landscape of Rome “, in order to optimize the interventions taking into account the complexity of the theme and all the requirements to be respected in terms of performance, perception, in compliance with the constraints and indications of the bodies responsible for the protection of the historical, artistic, environmental heritage . The research and support activity has so far been mainly carried out on the territory, starting from the documentation and the work started at the table, with particular focus on the analysis of the current state of public lighting with relative checks, measurements of the installed systems and subsequently indications of any corrective measures to be adopted as part of the led plan in a strategic vision that combines efficiency, beauty and enhancement of places.
