Casa Italia Parigi 2024 opened on Saturday 27 July 2024 in Le Pré Catelan – the place chosen by CONI to welcome the athletes of the Italia Team and its guests during the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris scheduled until 11 August 2024 – in which for for the first time in the history of Casa Italia, the public will be able to access and immerse themselves in a real, scenographic and emotional exhibition journey: a total work of art, architecture and design entitled “Ensemble”.

For Casa Italia, Fabertechnica used light as an element that enhances the individual excellences and professionalisms that converge in the “Ensemble” project, weaving a canvas that harmonizes everything in a perceptive and narrative path. The space was modeled to create visual hierarchies, among all the elements that conform the richness of contents of Casa Italia without forgetting the atmospheres necessary to accompany the moments of celebration that these spaces will celebrate. We worked on the place that hosts us as well as on the works and objects that characterize the exhibition, so that container and content become a single entity, following the “Ensemble” common thread traced by CONI and developed by the It’s Architettura studio. Approaching Casa Italia, after sunset, you pass through a work by Edoardo Tresoldi, in which the light, designed together with the artist, helps to read the form, the material and the transparencies. Entering Casa Italia you encounter emotional spaces, rich in works of art and furnishings, which relate to the place that hosts them, through transparencies defined by the texture of the coverings and the calibration of the light, on the ground floor and spaces which, while maintaining similar atmospheres become more functional on the upper floor. The connecting element between the two floors is the large chandelier that accompanies visitors along the monumental staircase. The light follows this narrative thread, alternating hidden installations in which the light – not the lighting fixture – is the protagonist, with solutions where the lighting fixture is entrusted with the task of enriching the space on a perceptive level. Light shows its dual nature: a system at the service of architecture, art and design, but also a protagonist in the narration of the excellence of Made in Italy.
