The Sala della Sacrestia is located inside the Vicolo Valdina Complex, which consists of a former convent of the Benedictine nuns of S. Maria in Campo Marzio, the adjoining church dedicated to S. Gregorio Nazianzeno, a Romanesque bell tower and a cloister 16th century with a fountain in the center. The room has a fragment of a 14th century Crucifixion fresco on the right wall, while on the left wall, bordering the church, there are 16th century frescoes depicting St. Battista, S. Gerolamo and S. Caterina d’Alessandria. For the new system we studied custom ceiling-mounted lighting fixtures, handcrafted to blend with the wooden coffered roof and thanks to the particular finish studied together with the client, with the decorations of the Room.
